Interactive MetronomeTM

Our Results:

Since 1986, Center for Rehabilitation & Development's caring therapists have offered innovative therapies for children and adults that use the latest research to produce the best results for their clients.

"When I first started Interactive Metronome, I couldn't even make the simple motion of clapping my hands together. I just froze up and became frustrated.I don't know how, but Interactive Metronome has made me more cognitively aware, more focused, and more concentrated. These things are still occurring, and I expect it to last a lifetime."

Who We Help:

Interactive MetronomeTM can benefit both children and adults with developmental disorders, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA).

How Interactive MetronomeTM Accomplishes Results:
  • Patients listen to the sound of a computerized metronome beat though headphones and perform a series of simple coordination exercises in time to the beat.
  • While practicing keeping this rhythm, the brain is trained to plan, sequence and process information more effectively.
  • Improvements in timing are clearly measured, and the individual is challenged to progressively improve his or her scores, which builds coordination and confidence.
